In June, New Pleasure VDL won the CSI1* Grand Prix at Lichtenvoorde, a class set at 1.40m. Two months later he won at that height again, this time at Ermelo. Hessel Hoekstra rode him at 1.45m in 2025. The dam Cersiena Z brings only her second foal here, and she is out of the ster mare Ersiena, listed at 1.20m by HorseTelex.
The sporting evidence of the Usiena line sits a generation higher, and it is concrete. The third dam Tresiena produced seven foals and five of them earned a competition record. Great-uncle Neuchatel Z jumped to fourth place at 1.45m in Vilamoura, Portugal in March 2019 and placed tenth in a 1.45m at Wiener Neustadt that July. Great-aunt Jersiena was eighth in a 1.40m at Fontainebleau in July 2022 and jumped that height again at Gorla Minore in March 2023. Great-uncle Montreal reaches 1.30m.
Vreek Pieter, a brother of the third dam, was seventh in a 1.45m at Athens in July 2019. The proof here does not sit in the first two generations but one step above them. It was written down abroad.
