Bred from Holstein lineage 2666 (Carolus I-II, The Man To See, Cartoon), Oman SB descends from the talented James SB, who is at the beginning of an international sports career and represents the strong Melusiena lineage. Dam Umaya EGE has produced, among others, the international 2*-eventer Clyde de Luxe ridden by Olivia Lambotte and a 1.35m showjumper. Granddam Dibetou is also listed as the granddam of the internationally 1.40m ranked stallion Kazanova (s.Cassini I), and she is herself a half-sister to the 1.50m level competing J-Lavaletta (s.Lavall I) ridden by Jörg Kreutzmann. From the same part of this damline come international 1.45/1.50m level horses such as Lint (s.Limbus), Estrada (s.Quick Fire), Conriko (s.Contendro II), Conrisiko (s.Contendro II) and Quasilento (s.Quastro).
