This promising Nutella carries good jumping genes from both sire and dam’s side. His dam Florinda is a half-sister of the successful Grand Prix jumper About A Dream (s.Clinton) of Pius Schwizer. The most remarkable reference of this well-known damline is the Olympic showjumper Authentic (s.Guidam), with which Beezie Madden won the bronze medal in Hong Kong. Just like Nutella, this legend goes back to the foundation mare Zinda (s.Lucky Boy xx). She can also be found in the damline of Todd Minikus’s Grand Prix horse Olinda (s.Voltaire). In 2016, sire Apardi competed in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics with Daniel Bluman. This full brother of jumping phenomenon Bacardi VDL also appears to pass on a lot of jumping quality to his offspring, the oldest of which are three years old.
