This colt represents the solid Niki damline, which has guaranteed to produce good showjumpers for generations. His dam Vaniki is a half-sister of the international Grand Prix showjumper Promise Me (s.Lauriston) with which Ian Millar participated in the Athens Olympics. In addition, granddam Iniki foaled the international 1.40m showjumpers Saniki (s.Corland) of Daniele Nicastri and Cardieno VDL (s.Cardento) of Ernesto Canseco, as well as the NRPS approved stallion Bournedale (s.Indoctro). Besides that, granddam Iniki is a half-sister of Kevin Melby’s Grand Prix showjumper Edison (s.Zuidhorn). Combined with this performance family is the proven sport and breeding stallion Arezzo VDL, which was declared ‘preferent’ earlier this year based on this outstanding breeding results.
