Last year, Luis Z was selected for the second round viewing of the KWPN approvals and he is sired by the international Grand Prix winner Luigi d’Eclipse, with whom Maikel van der Vleuten recently triumphed in Maastricht. On the dam’s side as well, Luis Z is related to a number of international showjumpers. His dam Elanca, is a half-sister to the international 1.45m level horse Come To London Z (s.Glock’s London), and granddam Vianca was bred from the same dam as the 1.50m level competing Uno II (s.Heartbreaker) of Dehlia Oeuvray-Smits. In the fourth generation, we find the foundation mare Bianca. She produced the Grand Prix horses Liberty (s.Libero H) -with whom Laura Kraut participated in the Olympic Games-, Molca’s Candlelight (s.Katell xx) and Ocana (s.Libero H).
