CORNET OBOLENSKY DAUGHTER SHINES: ACHIEVING A SALES HIGH OF €25,000

Feb 19, 2024

Across continents: our recent auction attracted the attention of customers all over the world. Not only customers from Europe - from the Netherlands to Belgium, Italy, Spain and France - found the auction well, but people further away, such as Mexico, America, Poland, Hungary and the United Arab Emirates, were also well represented. The initiators of the auction, Alwin and Niels, are pleased: "We succeeded again: high quality for realistic prices, and almost all items were actually sold!"

The four-year-old daughter of Cornet emerges as the most desired

Cornet Obolensky's promising daughter Princess Cornet DXB stole the show: after a fierce bidding duel, the winning bid was €25,000 and she will leave for America.

For the full sister of the Olympic stallion Verdi, Casalla Verdi van de Eijkhof Z, the battle started immediately after the opening last Wednesday and flared up again on Saturday evening just before the closing up to €15.000. The mare, in foal to Corlou PS, will leave for the United Arab Emirates.

The daughter of the international sports mare Quebecca Z was also very popular in the bidding on Wednesday evening. Ultimately, the very first bidder came out on top on Saturday evening: Kom on Quick (in foal to Up van 't Paradijs) will leave for Egypt for €15,000.

A lot of interest in already implanted embryos

At this auction there was a wide choice of already implanted embryos of current top horses. An implanted embryo of a 1.60m mare was sold for no less than €16,500. Grand Prix mare Tinkabell 12, combined with performance genes from Emerald van het Ruytershof, will leave for a valued customer in Spain.

The top sire Chacco Blue was also frequently present and remained popular. Both the implanted embryo of Chacco Blue from the Grand Prix mare Sterrehof's Ushi (sold to France for €15,500) and an embryo (mare) of Chacco Blue x Lightningthina (sold for €14,500 to Slovakia) were very popular and were frequently bid on. .

Next month: new collection of young show jumping horses
