The outstanding Cornet Obolensky has participated in the Olympic Games and has developed into an absolute top progenitor thanks to an impressive series of Grand Prix showjumpers. In this pedigree we find him together with a successful Dutch damline. In the third generation, the line goes back to the 1.30m mare Matilde, who is known as the dam of the 1.50m showjumpers Zuidhoeve (s.Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) and the KWPN approved stallion Applaus (s.Unistar). She is also the granddam of Willem Greve’s Grand Prix jumper Formidable (s.Carambole), with which he won bronze at the World Championship five-year-olds, and the 1.50m showjumper Caselli (s.Vingino). Other top horses out of this family are Eurohill’s Africa, Willink, Finesse, Uppie de Lis and Sterrehof’s Baccarat.
